Free Web Space:

MasonicSites.Org will issue free space for any North Carolina Masonic related organization recognized by the Grand Lodge of North Carolina. We will provide you with space for your site absolutely Free.

* At Our Convenience, MasonicSites.Org will prepare and post a basic one-page site for qualifying organization IF you do not have a member capable of preparing your own.  This web page will be of the same standard format as Harmony Lodge #340.

If you should have trouble submitting either form, send an e-mail to the webmaster stating that you fully agree with the provisions of MasonicSites.Org rules as stated on our agreement page and provide the required information about your organization.

The following is designed to help you to obtain, install, and use WS_FTP.

    

 
Connecting to your site:

- Go HERE to obtain a free version of WS_FTP.
- Download and install WS_FTP32.
- Run WS_FTP.
NOTE: If you have a different version of WS_FTP, the names of boxes given here may not be exactly as they are shown in your version.  Make entries in the boxes that are similar to what is shown here.
- Choose New Site from the file menu.
- Type a name for your site in the Profile Name box (any name that you wish.)
- Type ftp.masonicsites.org in the Host Name box.
- Host type is Automatic Detect.
- Type yoursite@masonicsites.org in the User ID box.
- Type your password in the Password box
- Type /yoursite in the Remote Host box.
- The 'Local PC' block should show the directory in your hard drive which contains your  home page and any additional items you wish to upload.
- Make sure the 'Anonymous' checkbox is not checked.
- Check the save password box.
- Click the 'Save' block. 
- Click "OK" box.

Saving a file on your Site:

The form shown below will then be displayed.
The left hand side of WS_FTP is 'Local System' displaying your hard drive.
- Select the directory containing the files that you want to put on your site.
The right hand side of WS_FTP is 'Remote System' displaying your site at the server.
- Select the folder on the 'Remote Server' that you wish to save your files to.
- On the left, highlight the files that you want to put on your site.
- Click the right arrow button in the area between the two windows.
You should see your files transferring!

Retrieving a File from your Site:

Same as above except highlight files on 'Remote Server" and click the left arrow.
