I have been a member of John A Nichols Lodge 650 for over 50 years now and I am 81 years old. The Shrine and Scottish Rite have give me a life time free membership. Does our blue lodge do the same.

Webmaster comments:   My Brother, each jurisdiction and each Lodge therein make their own rules concerning life membership. You should contact your Lodge Secretary for answers to your question. Wish I could help further.

As a Mason, who has often been asked, and on occasion asked others what we achieve through our fellowship. I found this site inspiring; it allowed me to look at what freemasonry can bring to others. But importantly to each of us. Your site allows us all to share in treasures which for some may appear hidden. We can all share Rudyard Kipling’s words, with the words of those who have experienced true love and fraternal support through our world wide fellowship. Many thanks.

I enjoyed looking over your sight. I particularly enjoyed seeing the names of past members such as Alexander Pope , and Andrew Jackson. Very impressive. For years I have wanted to join the Freemasons , but do not know how to go about it. I will continue to try though. I won't give up. Thanks again and God bless.
30 November 2006, Time: 02 : 08 - Statesville , NC

Webmaster comments:   Joining the Freemasons is quite simple: Find a member and ask for a petition!
No one will ever solicit your membership; that move must be of your own free will. You should be able to find the number of a lodge in Statesville in the phone book. Call and ask to speak with a member.
